Ground Investigation works for URS Building commence Monday 4 April
Wednesday, 23 March 2016
Please note ground investigations will commence on Monday 4 April, immediately north of the URS building, in the quad (see the attached GI exploratory hole plan here).
These works will last five days and will consist of boreholes, trial pits and hand dug inspection pits. The work requires the use of a drilling rig, which may give rise to some noise.
The works are an essential part of the wider URS project, and so are unavoidable. They have therefore been planned to avoid term time activities and to minimise impact and disruption.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Further details of the URS project will follow in due course.
