EU referendum: University statement and updated FAQs released

Friday, 05 August 2016

EU Referendum information for staff

The University has released a statement aimed at its European research partners following feedback from our Research colleagues.

The statement has been published on the Discover Reading website within our new dedicated EU referendum information pages, and can also be accessed via the short URL http://rdg.ac/euresearchinfo.

During our EU Open Forum session last month, Research colleagues expressed a strong need for a short, versatile statement from the University setting out its position on global research projects following the EU referendum. With this in mind, the statement has been designed to help communicate our ongoing research commitment to external bodies. The short URL will make it easier for colleagues to share the statement as and when necessary.

In addition, a revised set of FAQs have been published on the EU referendum: information for staff page on the Staff Portal. Updates include further clarity on Horizon 2020 funding and advice on submitting research proposals.

The University will continue to provide colleagues with as much EU information as possible over the coming months.
