University Council Election: Class 6 Result

The election for a member of staff to join Class 6 of the Council has now concluded.

Today, University Secretary and Returning Officer Richard Messer announced that Michelle Hargreaves has been elected into the Council.  

Michelle will serve the Council for the period from 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2019.

Election votes were cast as follows:

  • Kate Peak, Senior Programme Administrator, Programme Administration Services (43.1)
  • Michelle Hargreaves, Senior Projects Administrator, Projects (56.9%)

The Council comprises of a set of individuals who represent distinctive areas within the University. Class 6 serves to represent non-academic staff, and typically forms one seat of the Council. Further information on its structure can be found Council webpage.
