The Me@Reading Applicant and Student portals are part of the new digital products to support the student journey from application through to graduation by providing access to tailored information at each stage of the process.
We are looking to use Me@Reading as a means of communication between the University and both our applicant and student communities respectively. Colleagues are encouraged to submit articles and updates for publication- below you will find outlines of each Me@Reading portal to help you decide which one is best for your needs.
Me@Reading Applicant portal is available to potential students from application through to enrolment and allows us to engage with our offer holders by sharing tailored and relevant information throughout the conversion cycle. You can share updates, events and key information which can be tailored by department, course, domicile or fee status. Articles and events can be submitted via the Me@Reading Applicant Admissions page. Enter your staff username and password to log in.
Me@Reading Student portal is available to our students as soon as they enrol. The portal is a useful tool for students to keep all their resources in one place, including access to their emails, Blackboard, RISIS and their calendar, where they can access their academic timetable too. You can share tailored information, events and upcoming deadlines with them through the portal Articles and events can be submitted via the Me@Reading Student SAS page.
You will also find test logins here, so you can see what students see through the Me@Reading Student portal, including accounts tailored to specific departments and subject areas.
If you submit an article or event on one portal, you will have the option to tick a box for it to be shared on both portals.
If you have any questions, please email studentcomms@reading.ac.uk.
