Update: water main issue now resolved

The water main issue at Whiteknights campus has been resolved following overnight repair work. 

Thames Water carried out the works last night and have resolved the recent issue surrounding water supply. 

Repair work to the surface of Shinfield Road is yet to be completed. Thames Water have assured us that work will be carried out as early as possible, but in the meantime Chancellors Way will remain closed. 

Buses will be continue to be diverted from Chancellors Way to Queens Drive for the time being – please continue to use the temporary bus stop opposite Whiteknights House for Claret 21 and 21a services. 

Bus services running towards Lower Earley remain unaffected.
