Reminder: all-staff briefing session Wednesday 2 November

Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell

Colleagues are reminded that the next all-staff presentation will be held on Wednesday 2 November, 1:00pm–2:00pm, HBS G11.

Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell will provide updates on several key topics relevant to the University and the wider Higher Education sector, including:

  • Brexit
  • Higher Education and Research Bill 
  • Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)
  • Future tuition fees
  • Future of Research Excellence Framework (REF)
  • Higher Education finances
  • Political imperatives and Government focus on social mobility

Colleagues from across the University are encouraged to attend. The session will be filmed and will be made available at a later date.
