Armistice Day Remembrance Service Friday 11 November 2016
Thursday, 10 November 2016
Each year the University marks Armistice Day with a brief service of memorial, during which we also remember colleagues and students who have passed away over the last year.
To mark the First World War and to recall all those who have died in warfare since, all members of our community, staff and students, are invited to attend one of the three short services led by the University’s Chaplains across our campuses:
- London Road: Memorial clock tower
- Greenlands: Flagpole near cattle grid
- Whiteknights: Flagpole between the library and Whiteknights House
Staff, students and the local community are welcome to gather at the most convenient location at 10.50am on Friday 11 November 2016.
