Henry 1 of England: 2-for-1 ticket offer for University staff and students
Monday, 14 November 2016
As a way of thanking the University for supporting local theatre company Reading Between the Lines, students and staff can take advantage of a special 2-for-1 ticket offer for their latest production, Henry I of England.
The offer can be used for performances on Monday 14 November and Wednesday 16 November.
Reading Between the Lines worked alongside academics from the Department of History while researching for Henry I of England as well as the Department of English during the recent Shakespeare Workshops for Schools.
Staged in St James’ Church – believed to be the burial site of Henry I – the play explores the turbulent life of King Henry I, who founded Reading Abbey in 1121 and is thought to be buried under a car park nearby the site. The production has received five star reviews following its opening earlier this month.
To take advantage of the offer, please arrive at St James’ Church for 7.00pm and show a copy of either the email sent to the Dept Secs mailing list or a copy of this article. You will then be able to buy two tickets for the price of one.
Contact communications@reading.ac.uk if you require the email to be forwarded on to you no later than 5.00pm.
