Reminder: URS building survey works scheduled until 23 December

Colleagues are reminded that investigative works will be carried out inside and outside the URS Building until Friday 23 December.

The works will be carried out by Francis Construction, who were recently appointed to carry out survey works ahead of the building’s proposed refurbishment.  

From Monday 19 December, work will continue inside and outside the URS Building and will involve drilling at certain points. Footpath diversions will be in place as and when required. 

The investigative works have taken place following the end of the autumn term in order to minimise disruption to students and staff, and coincide with the move of URS occupants to the Chancellor’s Building.
