National Student Survey launches at Reading
Monday, 30 January 2017
The 2017 National Student Survey (NSS) launches today at the University of Reading.
Every year, the NSS invites final year students to share their views of their course, university and overall student experience.
The results help provide an unvarnished view of how final year students feel about the University, helping us to identify what we’re doing right and where we need to improve.
We highly value the views and recommendations final year students share each year through the survey – we know there is more we can do to improve the student experience we offer, which is why we need honest and open feedback from students to enable us to understand and make change. The NSS helps identify specific areas or themes for individual Schools as well as the University as a whole.
The survey can be completed online at www.thestudentsurvey.com and will only take a few minutes to complete. Eligible final year students will be contacted directly by survey hosts Ipsos Mori over the coming weeks. The NSS closes on Sunday 30 April 2017.
Schools are encouraged to host NSS-themed activates over the coming weeks to help support final year students in completing the survey. Suggestions can be found in the NSS Briefing pack, which was distributed to nominated NSS staff contacts on Wednesday 25 January.
