New executive-style accommodation showcased at Greenlands
Friday, 10 February 2017
Henley Business School recently held a showcase demonstrating the style of room to be offered as part of an ambitious accommodation project at Greenlands.
On Monday 30 January approximately 50 guests and stakeholders from the University and Henley Business School (including Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell) were invited to visit the sample room and to share feedback on what they liked and disliked about the current style.
Overall feedback was very positive, with the look and feel of the room praised for its high standard. The project team are in the process of collating and reviewing comments fed back from the event.
The project will see 60 new, high-quality rooms built into two separate buildings at Greenlands campus, replacing the existing accommodation available in Paddock House. The rooms will be styled after executive-level hotel accommodation, with each bedroom equivalent to the standards and specifications of four star accommodation.
The architectural style and materials used for the new buildings will complement the campus’s historic attributes, remaining sympathetic to the main campus building’s Grade Two listing and its unique setting by the Thames. The project is anticipated to be completed in May 2017.
Further information on the project can be found on Henley’s Greenlands Accommodation page.
