International Food Market to pause for revision period

If you’re a fan of our hugely popular International Food Market, be sure to note that the final market of the spring term will be held on Thursday 23 March. 

With being centrally located in the Palmer Quad, both the University and RUSU are keen to avoid increased noise and pedestrian traffic during the Quiet period, where students will be revising or taking exams. 

The market has proven to be a real hit with staff and students alike.  The team behind it are planning to return for the RUSU summer ball on Saturday 10 June, and will return to campus to welcome our new students over moving-in weekend and Welcome Week in September. 

There will still be plenty of culinary treats to look forward to – over the summer, our Food Services team will hold regular special catering events showcasing our catering team’s own specialities and national cuisines. Further details will follow in due course.
