Vice-Chancellor's address to Senate

The first Senate meeting of the year took place on Wednesday 8 Mar h 2017.

Fresh off the plane from his visit to University of Reading Malaysia, Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell delivered an address to Senate, speaking on topics including the HEFCE Annual Provider Review, student recruitment and major University projects.

As the University’s main academic administrative body, the Senate comprises of around 100 individuals including Heads of Schools, elected representatives, professional staff and students. It reports to the University Council and meets at least four times a year.
