Car park and road closures 27 March to 21 April

Maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out in car parks 1 and 2 over the coming weeks.   

Much of the work will be carried out during the University’s Easter closure period, from 12 –17 April. The University reopens on Tuesday 18 April.  

Car park closed 27 March –21 April

Additional drainage works will be carried out in Car Park 1 between Monday 27 March and Friday 21 April.

As a result the car park will be out of use during this period. 

Car Park 1A will remain open for use as usual.  

Car park 2 access 12–13 April

The road between the top of Car Park 2 and Park Eat will be closed on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 April to enable resurfacing work to be carried out.  

The gate adjacent to Foxhill Lodge will be opened for vehicular access to the halls of residence and Foxhill House for the duration of these works.  

Shinfield Road entrance closed 12–13 April

The Shinfield Road entrance to the University will be closed on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 April in order to carry out repairs to the road surface outside the Sports Park. 

Southbound buses will not be coming onto campus but will continue up Shinfield Road and turn left into Pepper Lane at the traffic lights. Access for cyclists and pedestrians will still be available.  

Estates and Facilities apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst these essential works are carried out.
