Open in Practice Conference 30 March 2017

Calling all humanities researchers art Reading! 

The Open in Practice conference is a free event for researchers in the sciences and the humanities, hosted by the University of Reading.  

The conference takes place on Thursday 30 March, HumSS (soon to be formally listed as the ‘Edith Morley Building’), Whiteknights campus, 10.00am – 4.00pm. 

With a focus on open research, the full day’s programme will feature guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds – academics, publishers and data specialists. Topics to be discussed include: using open methods; open access publishing; open peer review; digital humanities; open data and open software; open standards and formats; and open community initiatives.
