Improvement works on Agriculture path

Starting Monday 27 March, improvements are planned to the path from the Friends Bridge to Meteorology at the Whiteknights campus.

This will not affect access to the Friends Bridge and staff and students can continue to use the bridge as usual.

The improvements follow feedback received from University colleagues in the 2016 Travel Survey. Staff and students said the path suffered most from overcrowding and pedestrian cyclist issues. Read the full travel survey results report and summary.

Sustainability Services and Maintenance Services have arranged for improvements to be made to this path over the Easter break. The work aims to:

 

  • provide more space for pedestrians and cyclists
  • ensure that cyclists and pedestrians can share the route safely

The improvement works are scheduled to be finished by Monday 24 April.
