'Global engagement in an uncertain world' session on Tuesday
Friday, 05 May 2017
The political and economic changes of the past year pose new challenges for the higher education sector and the international mobility of students and staff.
On 16 May, Enzo Raimo, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement), will provide an update on the University’s Global Engagement Strategy and how we are preparing to deal with the challenges of an increasingly uncertain world.
The session will take place from 1.00-2.00 pm at Van Emden Theatre, Edith Morley (formally HumSS) on 16 May.
Enzo will be joined at the session by Dr Elizabeth McCrum, who will talk about the internationalisation of the curriculum.
This is the third Global Engagement Strategy session. In 2015, the focus was on assessment of the University’s internationalisation activity and the development of a new Global Engagement Strategy. The following year, Enzo reported on the strategy to 2020 and the related Key Performance Indicators.
This year’s update would include progress and development, including the University’s off-shore activity.
Booking is not required, but places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
