Celebrate Community and Creativity at the Big Band Big Lunch

Thursday, 25 May 2017

Big Band Big Lunch

The University warmly invites all colleagues and their families to the third annual Big Band Big Lunch on Sunday 4 June.

The event starts at midday and returns to our historic London road campus.  As well as being a part of the national Big Lunch, this year the event will also form part of the national Great Get Together, in memory of Jo Cox MP.

This year’s event will follow the theme of ‘Community and Creativity’ – visitors will be able to enjoy music from the University Big Band, the Universal Voices children’s choir and performances from South Asian dance troupe Kalakunj.

There will be many family-friendly activities for all to enjoy, including creative workshops created by ArtLab. There will also be plenty of food and drink available to buy, and guests are welcome to bring their own picnics if preferred.

Admission is free and no booking is required.

You can find further information on the Big Band Big Lunch listing page, our Facebook event page and the attached event poster.

If you have any further questions, please contact our Events Team at events@reading.ac.uk or on 0118 378 6718.
