Thursday, 25 May 2017

A minute’s silence is to be held across the UK at 11 am today, in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the attack in Manchester on Monday.

The University has not organised a formal event but invites staff and students to mark 11 am with respect, reflection and an expression of solidarity, however they see fit.

The attack on 22 May claimed at least 22 lives and left 119 people injured.
