China earthquake: advice to students

In light of the recent earthquake in China, the University has written to all Chinese students offering support and guidance in case of any questions or concerns. 

Should you receive any enquiries from students, please pass on the following information: 

Personal / Emotional Support

Students seeking emotional support or advice should speak to our Counselling and Wellbeing team in the Carrington Building. Open hours are 10.00 am – 4.00 pm on weekdays.

Practical Advice

Any student looking for practical, general advice should speak to RUSU Advice Service, located in The ARC, Students’ Union building. Open 11.00 am – 1:30 pm Monday & Thursday, and 2.00 pm – 4.30 pm Wednesday.
