Funding available for School and Function events

Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell has allocated £5,000 from the University’s Endowment Fund to support staff and students running departmental, school or function events involving the public or external stakeholders taking place before the end of the autumn term.

Up to £1000 can be granted per event. To apply, you will need to complete a short form (University log in required) explaining the objectives, focus and benefits of your event and send it to vc@reading.ac.uk.

Applications must be submitted by 29 September. We will aim to notify applicants of their success by 6 October.

Approved funding will be allocated directly to the department, school, or function budget. A short post-event evaluation will be required.
