There is still time to share your love for Whiteknights campus in the Green Flag People’s Choice Awards!

The national award invites members of the public to vote for their favourite green space in the UK. Voting is quick and easy – simply visit the Whiteknights voting page and cast your vote before Saturday 30 September. The top 10 winning sites will be announced on 11 October.

The Green Flag and People’s Choice Awards are run by the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy and recognise high quality green spaces and public parks across the country. Now in its third decade, the scheme highlights spaces of natural beauty open to the public, which are carefully maintained and/or preserved and offer excellent visitor facilities.

Earlier this year, Whiteknights campus won its seventh Green Flag Award in a row – while Green Flag Award winners are chosen by a panel of expert judges, the People’s Choice Awards are determined purely by public vote.

The lush grounds of Whiteknights campus are hugely popular with students, staff and the local community – and with areas like the Harris Garden (pictured), it’s easy to see why. This gorgeous photo of the Harris Garden was taken by one of our talented students (Yaz Photography, Instagram @yaz_photography_ltd).
