Celebrate 30 years of the Erasmus Programme on Monday 16 October
Thursday, 05 October 2017
The Erasmus & Study Abroad Office will be holding a celebration on Monday 16 October to mark the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus programme.
The hugely popular Erasmus Programme offers students an opportunity to take part in a student exchange within the EU, giving students a chance to study abroad for 3-12 months.
The University of Reading has a long-standing history with the Erasmus programme, and so the celebration will offer an opportunity to reflect upon the positive impact it has had on individual participants and on the wider University.
During the celebration students and staff who have been involved with the programme will share their experiences of taking part – including Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement, Vincenzo Raimo, who will also say a few words on how the programme fits into the University’s wider Global Engagement Strategy.
