Tableau dashboard training, Tuesday 17 October

The Planning and Strategy Office (PSO) host extensive internal reporting dashboards that make use of the Tableau Reader software.

Staff can access the dashboards via the PSO website, with dashboards covering key areas including: 

  • University planning processes (Research, SPS & SPELT)
  • Equality & Diversity (including Athena Swan submissions)
  • Historical student numbers and admissions data
  • Key Performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Benchmarking data for student surveys and league tables

To support staff using these dashboards the team will hold termly Tableau Reader training sessions, with the first taking place on Tuesday 17 October, 12.00-1.00 pm, Palmer G09. Places can be booked via Employee Self Service.  

The interactive sessions will be held in PC labs and will provide:

  • Tour of key data available through the PSO website
  • Tips for using Tableau Reader
  • Opportunities to explore specific dashboards 
  • Hands-on support from PSO staff
