Correction: student survey briefing session (updated time)

Following the first session at Whiteknights last week, colleagues are invited to join the second of these briefings on planned student surveys for the 2017/18 academic year on Thursday 9 November from 14:10 to 15:00 at L022 113, London Road.

The sessions are led by Dr Amanda Callaghan, Teaching & Learning Dean and Chair of the Implementation Group on Student Surveys. Amanda will introduce the work of the group and will provide an overview of the major undergraduate and taught postgraduate surveys planned this year, including:

  • National Student Survey (NSS)
  • UK Engagement Survey (UKES)
  • Postgraduate Taught Engagement Survey (PTES)
  • Our new Reading Student Survey (RSS)

For each survey, we will discuss the associated objectives, timing, planned promotion campaign, and how staff in Schools/departments and more widely across the University can help to increase student engagement with surveys.

We hope there will also be time at the end for Q&A, so do come prepared with any questions you may have.
