Several teams to be reconfigured in Whiteknights campus office moves

Whiteknights campus office moves

Plans are underway to reconfigure office space within Miller, Blandford Lodge and Carrington, which will see several teams move into new locations from February.  

Miller, Whiteknights House and Blandford Lodge

Several teams within the Advancement Group – Global Recruitment & Admissions, and Marketing, Communications & Engagement – will be relocated across our Whiteknights and London Road campuses. 

The moves will be carried out in two phases this year; in February, the International, UK & Outreach teams from Global Recruitment and the Content, Creative [design] and Marketing teams and the Research Communications and Engagement team will move from Whiteknights campus to the newly-refurbished LO27, London Road. In Whiteknights House, the Press Office, Social Media and Staff, Student and Community Engagement will be consolidated into room 3.01.

The second phase will take place in April, and will see the Admissions, Applicant Engagement and Events teams move into G10, Miller. The Print and Production team will remain in TOB 2 (Earley Gate). 

Following this second phase, the Department of Modern Languages and European Studies will move into the Miller Building over the summer. The space they vacate in Edith Morley will be occupied by Henley Business School. 

Additional Whiteknights House, Blandford Lodge and Carrington Building moves

Once these moves are complete, another round of moves in April/May will focus on further reconfiguration of Whiteknights House plus moves to Blandford Lodge, and additional moves within the Carrington Building. 

CQSD and the Teaching & Learning Deans will move into Blandford Lodge, while Auditing will move to Park House and the Research Deans will move into Whiteknights House. The Accommodation office and UPP will move to the 2nd floor of the Carrington Building, creating additional space for the Campus Jobs team. 

The timeframes for the moves listed above are still provisional, and so may change at a later date.
