Explore the Curriculum Framework at the Teaching & Learning Conference
Thursday, 18 January 2018
Registration is now open for the annual Teaching & Learning Conference, which takes place on Wednesday 31 January.
This year, the conference will focus on the Curriculum Framework. Sessions will examine a range of themes including assessment and feedback, employability, globalisation, student engagement and inclusivity.
The programme has been designed to suit a wide range of roles and interests – there will be plenty of material for those new to the Curriculum Framework as well as those already familiar with its scope.
We’re excited to announce that Professor Tansy Jessop, Professor of Research Informed Teaching at Southampton Solent University will deliver a key note speech and workshop on the importance of taking a programme level approach to assessment and feedback. As an advocate for using assessment to enhance student learning, Professor Jessop has been a driving force for the joint National Teaching Fellowship Project TESTA (Transforming the Experience of Students through Assessment) for the past eight years.
The conference will take place across several locations on Whiteknights campus and will be split into three elements– a keynote, workshops and networking. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. You can book your place by clicking the relevant links in the conference agenda:

Many of the workshops will run in parallel, so please check the agenda carefully and book your place today. Places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible on Wednesday 31 January!
