In Limbo: Brexit testimonies from EU citizens in the UK
Monday, 29 January 2018
What does it mean to be a European citizen today? And how will Brexit impact the lives of both British and non-British EU residents of the UK?
Before you think this is yet another politics-driven discussion, the Department of Modern Languages & European Studies invite all staff and students to a thought-provoking evening focusing on the very human realities brought on by Brexit.
Using material from her recent book In Limbo: Brexit testimonies from EU citizens in the UK, author Elena Remigi will share the personal experiences of EU citizens living in Britain since the 2016 Referendum. As well as reading extracts from In Limbo, Elena will also host a Q&A session and will be signing copies of the book.
The discussion will be introduced by Emeritus Professor Andrew Knapp, a highly specialised researcher in French government and politics.
