Places are still available on the termly Tableau Reader training session, which will take place on Tuesday 13 February.
Each term, our Planning and Strategy Office (PSO) host training for Tableau Reader for staff who use (or are likely to use) the software for reporting and data analysis.
Many of the analytical reports PSO produce are make use of Tableau Reader. If you have ever tried to review dashboard data from the PSO website, there is a good chance you would have already seen references to the software, but may be unclear on how to use it.
The training session will provide:
- Tour of key data available through the PSO website
- Tips for using Tableau Reader
- Opportunities to explore specific dashboards
- Hands-on support from PSO staff
The session will be held in Palmer G05B, 1.00-2.30pm. Places can be booked via Employee Self Service.
The dashboards available through the PSO website are extremely useful for members of staff compiling data-driven reports. Key areas include:
- University planning processes (Research, SPS & SPELT)
- Equality & Diversity (including Athena Swan submissions)
- Historical student numbers and admissions data
- Key Performance indicators (KPIs)
- Benchmarking data for student surveys and league tables
