LGBT History Month: Trans Awareness Training, 21 February

Places are still available on our Trans Awareness Training course, Wednesday 21 February. 

As part of LGBT History Month, we are once again holding our popular Trans Awareness Training course. The session looks at the range and variety of people who identify in one way or another as Transgender. The variables of gender, sexuality and other aspects are explored and explained, including: What it is like to be Trans; Coming Out; Being Trans in Public; Being Trans at work; How do staff react to trans people? 

Colleagues in student and public-facing roles may find the training especially useful. There will also be opportunities to discuss the topics raised and ask questions.
