Difficult three weeks for our University community: Vice-Chancellor

Friday, 09 March 2018

Sir David Bell

In an open letter to all staff published this morning, the Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell says, “The last three weeks have been difficult for our University community”.

He expresses gratitude to colleagues who have worked hard to manage the impact of strike action on our students.

The Vice-Chancellor says he has sought to engage with colleagues on strike in a positive and friendly and feels this approach has been reciprocated.
