Snow update: University open as normal

The University is open as normal despite the snow, thanks to the hard work of the Estates and Facilities Grounds Team.

Please discuss with your line manager if you face issues getting to work. If you are unable to travel and you need to cancel scheduled teaching, please make sure you email your students directly at the earliest opportunity so that they are aware of any cancelled classes. You can do this through Blackboard by following the instructions online.

If there is an increase in staff working remotely, this can cause difficulties accessing the VPN. Please only connect to the VPN when you need to use it. Disconnecting when you have finished will enable other colleagues to use the service.
