Invitation to Curriculum Review in Practice session, Monday 30 April

Saturday, 10 March 2018

The Curriculum Framework articulates a standardised set of criteria for reviewing new and existing programmes. But how does this work in practice?

CQSD will be exploring this very question in a dedicated information session for staff on Monday 30 April (12.00pm - 2.00pm). The session is open to all staff, and will be of particular relevance to Programme Directors and School Directors of Teaching and Learning.

This session will explain the purpose of the Framework and will answer key questions about the review process – what is it, how to do it, and where to start. With the help of case studies from Typography, Psychology and the Institute of Education, colleagues will learn about the methods colleagues have used to review their programmes, challenges and successes, and next steps to take.

The event will be useful for those already involved or about to begin a curriculum review, and will help explain how the Curriculum Framework introduces a standardised approach to designing new programmes and reviewing existing ones.

Places can be booked via the Employee Self Service portal. Lunch will be provided.

Please contact CQSD for more information.
