University launches Inclusive Practice in Teaching & Learning policy
Wednesday, 11 April 2018
The University has launched a new policy on Inclusive Practice in Teaching & Learning.
The Policy provides greater clarity and emphasis to our commitment to an inclusive approach, as set out in the Curriculum Framework and Teaching & Learning Strategy.
The aims are to increase the accessibility and inclusivity of our teaching and learning practices by embedding key adjustments, which will:
- benefit all learners;
- reduce the need for adjustments to teaching materials for individuals;
- enable all learners to participate fully in their learning.
We ask all teaching and support colleagues to familiarise themselves with the Policy – please refer to it when preparing teaching and learning resources.
In addition, colleagues may also find the practical advice available on the University’s Creating Accessible Teaching and Learning Materials page useful.
