Big and little voices wanted for Universal Voices community choir!
Tuesday, 17 April 2018
Universal Voices is a community choir free to all children aged 7-12 in the Reading area. It is run by colleagues and students at the Institute of Education, and performs regularly around the University.
And with a new rehearsal schedule set to begin this week, we wanted to remind colleagues that their children, grandchildren and family friends are invited to join!
About Universal Voices
In this choir, children develop their singing and musicianship skills through fun, practical rehearsals and high-quality performance at the University and around Reading.
Boys and girls will receive specialist vocal training from our music education students, and will be taught music reading and singing technique. The choir is an open access, non-audition choir, and welcomes applications from all in the community.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays during term time in Building L29 at our London Road campus, 4.45pm - 6.00pm. The first rehearsal will be held this week on Thursday 19 April.
Please download and complete the contact and permission form (Word, 13KB) ahead of the rehearsal.
