Reminder: Global Strategy update today

Wednesday, 02 May 2018

Events

The University's global presence and developments in the transnational education space are the focus of this year's Global Engagement Strategy update by Vincenzo Raimo.

The session will take place on 1.00-2.00 pm on Wednesday 2 May at Van Emden Lecture Theatre (Edith Morley), and will cover the University of Reading Malaysia and our international partnerships.

Enzo will be joined at the session by Roger Gibbard (Teaching & Learning Dean) and Steve Thomas (Head of International Partnerships).

This is the fourth Global Engagement Strategy session. In 2015, the focus was on assessment of the University's internationalisation activity and the development of a new Global Engagement Strategy. The following year, Enzo reported on the strategy to 2020 and the related Key Performance Indicators.

The 2017 update focused on the challenge posed to higher education and international mobility of students and staff by the political and economic changes in the world.

Booking is not required, but places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
