Changes to access arrangements for Whiteknights House
Monday, 30 July 2018
The University is introducing additional access control arrangements on the ground floor of Whiteknights House in August.
The changes follow a review of the security and office arrangements for the building, earlier this year, and will provide a secure working environment for colleagues.
The changes will affect access to Floors 1, 2 and 3 through the staircases and the lift in the building, and the Finance offices on the ground floor. If your Campus Card is already set up for access to Whiteknights House, you should be able to access these areas as normal.
If you are a member of staff who requires short-term access to the building, please contact the Whiteknights reception. Any requests for one-off access should go to Campus Cards.
Visitors to the building will need to be collected from the reception, so please remember to carry your Campus Card with you at all times.
As before, anyone working in Whiteknights House outside of core working hours should let the security team know that they are in the building and sign in and out using the book at the main Whiteknights House reception.
