Summer Re-Use Challenge: still time to get involved

Summer Re-Use Challenge

Sustainability Services are running a Summer Re-Use challenge up until 24 August. Can the University re-use 250kg of items in just two weeks?

To raise awareness of the importance of re-using unwanted office items, Sustainability Services have set a target of re-using 250kg of unwanted items in just two weeks – for context, last August we re-used 219kg over the whole month…

The challenge aims to improve re-use across the University and to encourage colleagues to use the Warp-it portal to donate and claim unwanted office items (such as furniture and stationery).

Colleagues using the portal to claim re-usable items will receive prizes as a thank-you, plus special awards for super-users.

By taking part, you are also contributing to the University’s target to improve re-use by 10%. So go on – see what difference you can make!

Please visit the Sustainability Services website for full details.
