New access arrangements for Whiteknights House

Monday, 03 September 2018

University shield

New access control arrangements have been introduced in Whiteknights House from today.

The changes follow a review of the security and office arrangements for the building, earlier this year, and will provide a secure working environment for colleagues.

Colleagues will need to use their Campus Card to access the staircase and lift to the First, Second and Third floors. New card access points have been installed on the ground floor and in the lift to facilitate this.

If your Campus Card is already set up for access to Whiteknights House, you should be able to access these areas as normal.

If you are a member of staff who requires short-term access to the building, please contact the Whiteknights reception. Any requests for one-off access should go to Campus Cards.

Visitors to the building will need to be collected from the reception, so please remember to carry your Campus Card with you at all times.

As before, anyone working in Whiteknights House outside of core working hours should let the security team know that they are in the building and sign in and out using the book at the main Whiteknights House reception.
