The annual Royal County of Berkshire Show is back! Come along to celebrate agricultural life at this family-friendly event on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September. Taking place at Newbury Showground, Thatcham this event is a great opportunity for a family day out!

With over 600 stands there is plenty to do and plenty to see.  Whether you are a horse fanatic, farm animal enthusiast, food or craft lover this festival has it all.

Whilst you are there make sure you visit the University of Reading stand to discover the journey food takes before it arrives in your basket. Our amazing research will take you from the Second World War to the modern day, as we learn about everything from pollination to pesticides, and food processing to additives. Join us at this family-friendly hands-on stand where you will learn about the small steps we can all take to stop food waste in its tracks.
