University Open Day for prospective students

Friday, 28 September 2018

Prospective students being shown round by student helpers

After a successful two Open Days in June, we are looking forward to our final Open Days of the year on Saturday 6 October and Saturday 13 October.

Both days will run from 09:00-16:00 and the full programme can be found online.  We ask that those colleagues working in the Open Day Dome join us from 8.00 am.

For those members of staff planning to use public transport to travel, please be aware that there is a South Western Railway strike on 6 October.

We are still looking for some volunteers to help the central team with roles in the Dome and across campus. If you are interested in volunteering to work both or either of the above dates – please get in touch Anastasia Perrett and Nyola Stewart know as soon as possible. We ask staff to be on site from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm if possible and have a variety of exciting roles to fill!

With up to 2500 prospective students (plus parents) anticipated at each event, your additional help is not only gratefully received but is also essential to the smooth running of the days, and ultimately, the visitor experience and subsequent inclination to apply to Reading.
